Well, been putting this off. At least the announcing part, but Sherri just got an assignment to Elmendorf, Alaska.
Years ago I would have been excited about such news, but today I have to admit that there is quite the lack of desire going to the real frozen tundra. Would have preferred Japan or Europe, but could have been worse.

I know you’ll have fun once you get to the frozen tundra; lots of outdoor activities that you could get into once there. In fact, I can just picture you now out on the frozen lakes ice fishing.

We will miss you three as well. The biggest bummer I can think of is not being around when your little one first sees the world.
